If friends do things that I don’t like or that aren’t good for me or them, then I must decide if I want to hang out with them. All I can control is ME, and all you can control is YOU. I believe that this attutude will help you pay attention to your own sobriety. I have had to learn how to stay sober using my own willpower. I don’t hide from the real world.I go to parties, concerts, sporting events, etc. – and I stay sober.
